We dedicated our entire morning to the Guizhou Provincial Museum and it was time well spent! This modern museum offers fascinating insights into the region's rich history and diverse ethnic cultures. I was particularly captivated by the exhibits on the mysterious Yelang Kingdom and its unique burial customs, especially the intriguing head-covered burials where bronze vessels were placed over the deceased's head. The museum beautifully showcases Guizhou's multicultural heritage through well-curated displays and interactive exhibits. Whether you're a history buff or simply curious about local traditions, this museum is an excellent introduction to Guizhou's past and present!
