Afternoon Tea at Teavana Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo

You can choose between table seating and counter seating. Having enjoyed Teavana tea at the counter during a previous visit, this time I opted for a table seat. At 5 PM, five groups who successfully reserved their afternoon tea experience started simultaneously.

First, a Welcome Teavana tea is served. This specialty tea is a blend of three different teas mixed by the Roastery Tea Master. For beverages, you can order one drink from eight Teavana varieties. Since it's the season, I chose peach tea.

The set includes two savory items and eight sweet treats (dolce), presented on a two-tier tray and a separate plate. These are prepared by Princi Tokyo, which is located within Starbucks Reserve.

Princi is an Italian bakery invested in by Starbucks, offering authentic Italian bread flavors that can be enjoyed in Tokyo. I've tried it several times at the Reserve—it’s pricey but undeniably delicious. 🤣

The savory items in this afternoon tea include a brioche handmade burger and a scone topped with prosciutto and dried tomatoes, both of which have a delightful sweetness as if honey were added.

As for the eight dolce, each one is a masterpiece. The stable cream-based elements provide a harmonious balance to the overall experience. Adding to the ambiance, the view of hydrangeas in full bloom outside the window creates a stunning scene. Thank you.
