Winter in Guiyang has a unique charm. Here are some activity recommendations without pictures:

• Natural Scenery: Besides the previously mentioned Yunwu Mountain, Duxi Forest Farm, and Qianling Park, there is also the Tianhetan Tourist Resort, which features mysterious and magnificent underground rivers and waterfalls of various sizes, offering a distinctive winter landscape; Huaxi Park is perfect for a stroll after snowfall, allowing you to get close to nature; Guanshanhu Park is covered in silver during winter, where you can build snowmen, have snowball fights, and enjoy winter fun.

• Sports and Leisure: Gaopo Yunding Ski Resort is the only ski resort around Guiyang open day and night. It is close to the city and has professional ski instructors, letting you fully enjoy the thrill of skiing.

• History and Culture: Jiaxiu Tower is a city landmark of Guiyang, standing for over 400 years. "It stands above the fishing rocks and misty waters, spanning between the long bridge and the hanging rainbow." Fuyu Bridge, Hanbi Pavilion, and Cuiwei Garden complement it, offering a peaceful atmosphere in winter. Cao Zhuangyuan Street is named after Cao Weicheng, the only martial champion in Guizhou’s history. The street is quaint and carries the cultural heritage of "one family with three scholars, bestowed the title of champion by the emperor."

• City Scenery: Qixialing is a great spot to watch the sunset. From the gate of Dongshan Temple, you can overlook Guiyang at dusk, where the old town’s fireworks blend harmoniously with the modern city. Diantai Street is a lane full of the old Guiyang’s lively atmosphere, with an artistic vibe and local flavor, worth a visit. The New Print 1950 Cultural and Creative Block integrates commerce, culture, and more. The red brick walls, mortise and tenon herringbone roofs, and old movable type printing let you experience the charm of printing culture.

• Folk Activities: Qingyan Ancient Town holds a Spring Festival garden party from the first to the fifteenth day of the lunar new year, including lantern parades, Hanfu experiences, and ancient-style lantern markets.
