Xijiang Town at Night Is Straight Up Magic

#chinatravel Xijiang at night is honestly something else. This little Miao town in Guizhou lights up like a lantern festival with all the wooden houses glowing warm yellow across the hills. You walk through the narrow streets and it’s just lights music and chill vibes everywhere. The river reflects everything so it’s double the glow and super pretty.

Locals set up food stalls and sell all kinds of snacks like grilled meats and sweet rice stuff and it all smells amazing. There’s usually some kind of music or dance thing happening in the main square which makes it feel festive but not too wild.

Walking up to the top of the hill for a night view is totally worth it the whole town sparkles and it feels peaceful even with all the little things going on. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down without even trying. If you’re ever in Guizhou Xijiang at night is a must see.
