Tibet, this mysterious and magnificent land, boasts enchanting scenery. Careful planning before embarking on the journey is crucial to avoid wasting precious time.
Budget and Preparation
It is recommended to reasonably arrange your budget according to your situation. Do not be too frugal, as traveling in Tibet can be relatively expensive. If you choose to fly, immediately go to a clinic or hospital for oxygen and medication if you experience altitude sickness. Do not hope to recover by just sleeping; early treatment ensures a pleasant subsequent journey.
Ways to Enter Tibet
If you have ample time, a train sleeper is a good choice. Avoid hard seats to ensure good rest and reduce the risk of altitude sickness. After arriving in Lhasa, rest at the hotel first. Avoid excessive exercise, walking, washing your hair, bathing, and drinking alcohol to prevent altitude sickness.
Food Experience
Tibet's sweet tea is sweet and delicious, while butter tea has a salty flavor. Some friends may not be accustomed to the taste of butter tea, so try it cautiously.
