Tashilhunpo Monastery

Tashilhunpo Monastery is truly a must-visit destination when traveling to Tibet! Located in Shigatse, it is one of the most important monasteries of the Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) sect in Tibetan Buddhism and serves as the seat of the Panchen Lama. Built in 1447, stepping into Tashilhunpo Monastery is an awe-inspiring experience, with its magnificent architecture leaving a lasting impression.
