This temple was founded by Kim Dae-seong of Unified Silla during the North-South States Period on the western slope of Tohamsan Mountain in Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

In addition to the sarira pagoda designated as a national treasure in 1963, there are five pagodas within the Bulguksa Temple grounds. In addition, the grounds were designated as a historic site in 2009 and were listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1995.

I recommend a trip to Bulguksa Temple, where you can see the beauty in different colors every season!
