🌊 Kanas Lake — “The Last Pure Land on Earth” & Home of the Mysterious Lake Monster
📍 Location: Burqin County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang, China
📸 Also known as: “The Alps of the East” — surrounded by snow-capped mountains, turquoise waters, and misty forests that look straight out of a fairytale.
🐉 Local Legend: Beyond its beauty, Kanas is famous for its mysterious lake monster, a legend that has fascinated travelers for decades..
If you’re lucky (and patient), you might just catch a ripple or glimpse of “the monster” yourself.
