🇨🇳 Snow Village "雪乡" in Heilongjiang (China Snow Town)

It's said to be a fairytale-like snow town. At night, the yellow-orange lights reflect off the white snow. The contrast with the red lanterns is so beautiful!

☃️ 𝑋𝑢𝑒𝑥𝑖𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑁𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝐹𝑜𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑃𝑎𝑟𝑘 or Snow Village, China Snow Town

"Snow Village," also known as Xue Xiang, was built in 1999 and is located in northeast China, between Hailin City and Mudanjiang Town, Changting Town. Within the Dahailin Forestry Bureau, snow falls here for seven months a year, with depths of up to two meters.

🩵 Snow Village is not open year-round. During other seasons, villagers return to work in forestry or agriculture.

🏰 Located 260 km from #Harbin.
📆 November-February (though February is a bit more challenging). Because some years the snow melts early, the park closes early, possibly as early as February 10th.

🎿 Dog sledding, skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, miniature parks, and other activities
🍲 Must-try food: Dongbei hot pot (东北铁锅炖), and my favorite is the chewy chicken and mushroom stew (小鸡炖蘑菇). So delicious!
