The Trappistine Monastery of Our Lady of the Angels is also known as the Angel Garden. It is Japan's first contemplative monastery.

It's far from Hakodate Station, but it's a must-visit place when you come to Hakodate.

Men are prohibited from entering the monastery.

Anyone can enter the garden, museum, souvenir shop, etc.
