🗺️🗺️ 【Travel Itinerary】
Day 1: Quick stop in Sapporo (Hakodate was the main destination!) Arrived in the afternoon, explored the area, had dinner, and took an overnight bus to Hakodate🚌
Dinner: Korega Jingisukan -> Not bad, but just okay.
Day 2: Visited Hakodate Morning Market -> Hachiman-zaka Slope -> Hakodate Park -> Motomachi Church -> Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward -> Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse -> Lunch: Soup Curry Veggie Rama (worth trying for the experience) -> Checked into accommodation and rested -> Mount Hakodate (You can take either the ropeway or the bus to the observatory. Both are recommended. If you're short on time, take the ropeway; if you're on a budget, take the bus.) -> Dinner: Shinano (It was crowded in the evening, so there was a wait.)
Day 3: Lunch: Lucky Pierrot (A hamburger chain unique to Hakodate. Worth trying for the experience, but the taste was just average. I had high expectations due to many positive reviews, but it didn't quite meet them.) -> Goryokaku Tower & Park -> Pan Espoir & Donguri (A bakery with truly delicious bread.) -> Took an overnight bus back to Sapporo -> Accommodation: Teyatel Sapporo Susukino (Recommended for solo travelers. Clean and affordable.)
Day 4: Lunch: Tonkatsu Aoki Sapporo Odori Branch (Delicious, highly recommended) -> Odori Park -> Airport
I spent some of my free time indulging in otaku activities here and there... hehe. Hakodate is truly an amazing travel destination✈️ I want to visit again... I went on April 23, and since Sapporo's cherry blossom season is usually in late April, I was able to see cherry blossoms🌸 If you're unsure where to go in Japan, I highly recommend Hakodate👍 To save on costs, I used overnight buses to cut down on accommodation and transportation expenses, but you can also travel faster and more comfortably by subway🫶
