Eat king crab for breakfast at Hakodate Morning Market🤑🤑🤑

[Hokkaido Hakodate] It’s common sense to go to Hakodate Morning Market for breakfast!
The goal for this day was very clear, which was to take my dad to eat king crab!
After comparing prices, the one at the entrance was the most affordable. The live king crab we ordered was about 14,000 yen (~HKD980)
But it was not in season after all, and the quality was much worse than the last time I ate it in winter. It was thinner and the flavor was much less delicious than in winter.
No wonder some store owners in the market asked us to buy frozen king crab legs, which might be fatter.
On the contrary, Hokkaido scallops are super sweet! Each scallop is about 500 yen, and you can choose to eat it as sashimi or grilled. Both cooking methods can highlight the umami flavor of the scallops, making it more impressive!

PS The prices at Hakodate Morning Market are also cheaper than those at Sapporo Nijo Market, so if you want to eat crabs, you can buy them here.
