While looking at various hot spring inns on a travel booking site, I discovered a private bath called "Shotoku no Yu" and stayed at Kinokuniya Ryokan! ︎
※I stayed there in October 2023.
The room I stayed in was built in the Taisho era, and the hot springs and the interior of the building had a retro atmosphere.
The room was great, so I recommend it to people who like hot springs and retro things 🤤
✔️Recommended points
⚫︎You can enjoy two types of hot springs: cloudy water full of hot spring minerals and colorless and transparent water ♨️
⚫︎You can use the large public bath any time from check-in until 9:30!
⚫︎The retro atmosphere is cute, with buildings built in the Taisho era! ⚫︎Table tennis is free and you can play as many times as you want if it's free🏓
⚫︎Dinner and breakfast are delicious🥢
⚫︎Wifi available🛜
✔️Points to note
⚫︎Private baths (paid) are reserved in order of check-in, so if you want to use them at your preferred time, you need to check in early!
⚫︎It seems that there used to be two types of large baths, but now there is only one!
*The map of the building shows that there are two large baths, but in reality there are no more 🥲
