From Hakone Owakudani - Eat Black Hot Spring Eggs & See Mt. Fuji

After touring Oshino Hakkai, we visited the Museum of the Little Prince and our last stop was Owakudani. At around 5 o'clock, the crowd began to disperse and some tourist spots were blocked by staff, so I could only take photos nearby and visit one of the souvenir shops.

My husband first bought the specialty here - black hot spring eggs, 5 in a bag, placed in the palm of his hand 𥚃, a true "warm egg" 😄. The taste is the same as boiled eggs, but the shell has turned black. It is said that it is cooked with the hot spring water here.

The temperature that day was -3 degrees Celsius. If I hadn't worn gloves, my hands would have been so cold that they would have turned into ice.
