The fairyland on earth, Hallstatt

Located in the eastern Alps of Austria, Hallstatt is surrounded by mountains reaching up to 3,000 meters in altitude, with crystal-clear lake waters. Home to 770 indigenous residents, it has been designated as a "World Cultural Heritage" site by UNESCO, while the surrounding area is recognized as a "World Natural Heritage" site—a rare double "World Heritage" distinction. The Gothic church and mosque minaret-style church are iconic landmarks, and the scenery is often called "a postcard from heaven." During peak tourist seasons, visitor numbers are restricted, and cars are not allowed into the town, so be sure to check before your trip.
