Facing the mountains and backing onto the temple, a leisurely weekend with private hot springs in the wilderness

I unilaterally declare that this hotel is the 🔝 of all the hotels I've stayed in this year‼️

Located just 3 hours by car from Shanghai and only 1 hour from Hangzhou, I can't believe I've only just discovered this treasure of a hotel now, it's truly beautiful‼️

🏨 The hotel is situated within the Xitianmu Mountain scenic area in Lin'an and is also part of the architecture of the Chan Yuan Temple. With the mountains in front and the temple behind, tourists are not allowed to drive in, only guests can drive in, making the environment more serene. If you continue up the mountain, there is also a 5-kilometer hiking route, which is a great place for lung cleansing.

🛁 Although it has been open for 8⃣️ years, the Zen-themed decoration style is still very charming, and the facilities are well maintained. I highly recommend the ♨️ internet-famous private hot tub room! The 2-meter diameter circular bathtub faces the lush forest and the clear green stream outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. Add an East-meets-West afternoon tea, and it's simply wonderful.

🥢 Dinner was also had at the hotel, with exquisite vegetarian dishes that imitate meat dishes, and the taste was quite amazing. There are also farm stays nearby to choose from.
