Hangzhou Youth Tour: A Great Hermit Hiding in the City, Visiting Mr. Jin Yong’s Study

🔹Yunsong Book House is located on the bank of West Lake in Hangzhou. It was originally built by Mr. Jin Yong in 1994 with the original intention of providing a place for book collection, writing and literary gatherings. Later, because Mr. Jin Yong was concerned about his hometown and had deep feelings for West Lake, in 1996 he donated his library and his collection of books to the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government free of charge.
🔸The Yunsong Library is built in the unique courtyard style of Jiangnan, with white walls and black eaves. From the outside, the garden does not look big, but once you step inside, the main buildings divide the whole garden into different scenic areas, which are deep and winding, and fascinating. Every detail in the garden is very exquisite, and you can seem to smell the strong scent of books and ink everywhere you go.
The book house does not sell tickets, and visitors can come and go freely. The breeze blows gently, and the pines and bamboos sway slightly. Although it is located in a busy city, the surrounding environment is beautiful, as if it is a paradise on earth.
