Hangzhou Xihu State Guesthouse, Zhejiang Xizi Hotel, and Hangzhou West Lake Liyingli Hotel are three state guesthouses under the Zhaohe Hotel Group, commonly known as the "Three Royal Families." All three hotels are in excellent locations, with private access to the West Lake shoreline and lake views. The hotels are not just a place to stay, but a destination in themselves.

🌲Location and Scenery: We chose to stay at Liyingli, the newest and smallest of the "Three Royal Families." The hotel's name is its location, in the Liulang Wenying Park, one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake. The hotel is small, but it is exquisite. The beautiful lawn, the quiet lakeside with a great view, and the fairy-tale-like back garden are worth a slow walk and appreciation. We were lucky enough to catch the osmanthus blooming season, with the scent of osmanthus on the lawn, and we could enjoy the osmanthus without leaving the park.

Hardware and Service: Liyingli was a G20 reception hotel, and the facilities are new. The hotel has a limited number of rooms and a variety of room types. We stayed in a family room with one double bed and one single bed, and three breakfasts, which is perfect for a family trip. The breakfast is quite rich and meets the standard of a five-star hotel. It is worth mentioning that the double group package at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, Wenying Hall, is quite cost-effective and needs to be booked one day in advance, with an average price of less than 200 per person. If you don't stay at the hotel, you can have a meal here and then take a walk in the park, which will also be a great experience. The hotel staff is very friendly, smiling, and well-trained.
