This hotel in Zhongshan is really great!

Hotel Recommendation Index: ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The hotel is located in Guzhen Town, Zhongshan City, which is less bustling than Gangkou Town! It's about a 30-minute drive from Le Meridien Hotel. Because Guzhen Town is the main base of the lighting industry, this hotel is mostly occupied by business travelers, but there are also many tourists from Hong Kong choosing this hotel. I still don't understand why, haha (maybe because it's less crowded and quieter?!). Back to The Westin Hotel, the 39th-floor high-altitude lobby is very tall, and the various lighting decorations are also amazing! I stayed here on the weekend, and luckily I didn't encounter a Hong Kong tour group like last time. The front desk quickly identified my membership and completed the check-in procedures clearly. This time, I stayed in the renovated suite on the 54th floor (5403). As soon as I entered the room, the irregular living room and the chandelier in the living room that resembled a planetary arrangement still caught my attention!

This room is divided into 3 areas: the living room, the bedroom, and the bathroom. Compared to the bedroom, the living room is quite large. The corner room with floor-to-ceiling windows allows you to have a clear view of the townscape of Guzhen Town. The room's mini bar is equipped with a Nespresso capsule coffee machine, and the tea bags are Twinings breakfast red and green tea. Because I came for my birthday, a cake of the same style as the Zhongshan Poly Le Meridien Hotel was waiting for me early, and the staff also made some related arrangements, which was quite nice! But honestly, I think the renovated guest room I stayed in last time had a better layout, equivalent to an open suite, with the bedroom and bathtub directly facing the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the wall-free area looked very comfortable! If you don't insist on the suite layout, you can choose the renovated guest room type.

The Executive Lounge of the Westin Hotel is famous for being great, with a rich variety of food, including shrimp, pork belly, beef, pork bone longan soup, etc. Although I personally feel that the taste is average, it is still quite comfortable to eat with the high-altitude scenery! The cocktails mixed by the lounge staff are also great, and I still prefer their open kitchen, where you can order freshly cooked noodles.

The gym and swimming pool areas are relatively large. The gym is fully equipped, and there is also a large yoga room next door. The high-altitude swimming pool is very photogenic. Whether it is day or night, you can take good photos here. There is also a massage pool next to the swimming pool. If you don't want to swim, you can come here for a massage!

What left a special impression on me during this hotel stay was some of the places I hadn't been to and its convenient location, such as the Yifeng Bar on the 40th floor (now open irregularly and operating independently). Also, if the various lighting decorations in the hotel are really dazzling, then the Lighting Expo Center opposite the hotel will really blind you. It's so exaggerated but so beautiful. The hotel is also less than 5 minutes away from Guzhen Station (I only realized how close it was after walking there myself), which is really convenient. Finally, I hope the hotel will bring back the Chinese restaurant as soon as possible, it will be successful in Guzhen Town!
