πŸ“… Itinerary
Day 1: Fuchun River β†’ Sheraton Fuyang Hotel β†’ Longmen Ancient Town
Morning: Depart from Hangzhou and head straight to the Fuchun River upon arriving in Fuyang. Stroll along the riverbank, admire the beautiful scenery on both sides, and experience the realm of "extraordinary mountains and waters, unparalleled in the world."
Noon: Find a riverside restaurant nearby to taste authentic Fuyang cuisine. Recommended dishes include steamed white fish and braised river eel.
Afternoon: Check in to the hotel, rest briefly, then head to Longmen Ancient Town. The town was a settlement for Sun Quan's descendants, filled with Three Kingdoms cultural atmosphere and Ming-Qing dynasty architectural charm. Wander through the old streets, visit the Sun Family Ancestral Hall, and try local specialties like Longmen gluten and Sun Quan's family wine.
Evening: Return to the hotel for dinner at the hotel restaurant. After dinner, take a walk along the river to aid digestion while enjoying the night view of the Fuchun River.

Day 2: Fuyang Museum β†’ Gongwang Art Museum β†’ Return Trip
Morning: Enjoy a sumptuous river-view breakfast at the hotel to energize yourself for the new day.
Late morning: Visit Fuchunshan Hall to explore the Fuyang Museum and learn about Fuyang's historical changes and cultural heritage. The museum's basic exhibition themed "Home on the Fuchun River" features eight sections telling Fuyang's stories.
Noon: Dine at a restaurant near Fuchunshan Hall and try local dishes such as "Immortal Chicken" and stone-ground tofu.
Afternoon: Visit the adjacent Gongwang Art Museum, which regularly hosts various art exhibitions. If you're lucky, you might enjoy an excellent calligraphy and painting exhibition. After the visit, prepare for your return journey~

Fuyang is truly a hidden gem for travelers where you can relax both body and mind in just two days and one night. If you're looking for an off-the-beaten-path weekend destination, consider giving Fuyang a try!
