Facilities-wise—aside from the round bathtub taking a while to fill due to its size, there’s little to complain about. The room’s views are stunning, and the long balcony overlooking the sunset-lit lake is pure bliss.
But…to be honest, the cash rates here are quite steep. Without using points, the value-for-money ratio feels average. Also, I wouldn’t recommend the ground-floor rooms due to privacy concerns.
The hotel houses a Black Pearl One-Diamond restaurant and a nighttime bar. Venturing out, you can explore the wetlands easily.
However…Xixi Wetland itself is quite remote, and Hangzhou has no shortage of natural scenery, making alternatives plentiful. Your choice ultimately depends on personal preference.
