Hangzhou / Han Meilin Art Museum

Han Meilin, known as the Chinese Picasso, was born in Shandong in 1936. He graduated from the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, taught at the Academy of Fine Arts at Tsinghua University, and was a researcher at the Central Academy of Literature and History. He is a talented contemporary Chinese plastic artist. His representative works include the Beijing Olympic mascots, the Fuwa (Chinese Fuwa), and the Air China logo. He has been awarded the World Art Contribution Award from the World Artists Association (USA).

The museum has a relaxing atmosphere and is relatively dark. There's a large art installation outside, a popular photo spot. Spend a few minutes admiring the artwork and feeling the resonance within.

But I'm not very artistically inclined. I prefer history, so I didn't spend much time there.

📍Admission: Free
