Hangzhou: A City of Poetry, Lakes, and Harmony

Hangzhou is one of the most picturesque cities in China, where ancient culture blends seamlessly with natural beauty. The city's crown jewel is West Lake (Xihu), which has inspired poets and artists for centuries. Strolling along its shores, amidst elegant bridges, blooming lotuses, and ancient pagodas, you can truly feel a sense of peace and contemplation.

I was particularly captivated by the view from Leifeng Pagoda, the evening lights of the City God Pavilion, and the Longjing tea plantations—the aroma of the local tea is unforgettable. The old streets, such as Hefang Street, are filled with cozy shops, traditional sweets, and street musicians, creating a unique atmosphere of old China.

Hangzhou is a city where the past and future coexist in harmony. Here, cutting-edge technology stands alongside millennia-old temples, and the hustle and bustle of the metropolis fades away by the mirror-like surface of the lake.

📍 Address: Zhejiang Province, Eastern China
🕒 Best time to visit: April–October, when the lotuses bloom and the weather is mild
💡 Tips: Take a boat ride on West Lake at sunset, try Longjing tea, and stroll along Hefang Street in the evening.
