Ho Chi Minh's embalmed body is preserved inside the mausoleum, lying in state for public viewing. The mausoleum is surrounded by a large square and is located near other significant landmarks, including the Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum.
