The architecture of Hanzhong Museum is also worth seeing.

*To understand the history of the Two Han Dynasties and the Three Kingdoms period, Hanzhong is an excellent choice. As an important birthplace of the culture of the Two Han Dynasties and the Three Kingdoms period, and the place where Liu Bang, the Han King, rose to prominence, the Hanzhong Museum is the most representative product of that era. The entire museum is in a garden style, divided into three courtyards, with ancient charm, elegance, and beautiful scenery.

*Hanzhong Museum, also known as Gu Hantai, consists of three parts: Gu Hantai, Baijiangtai, and Yinmachi. Among them, the Gu Hantai ruins are the most important part of the museum. This was once the palace of Liu Bang, the Han King. Now, it houses more than 5,200 cultural relics, including 45 first-class relics. The most famous one is the "Thirteen Cliff Stone Carvings of Shimen," a national first-class cultural relic and the museum's treasure.

*The collected "Thirteen Cliff Stone Carvings of Shimen" consists of thirteen large cliff stone carvings, known as "national treasures," which even Kang Youwei and Yu Youren marveled at.

*The "Thirteen Cliff Stone Carvings of Shimen" are not only valuable historical materials for studying the ancient Baoxie Plank Road and Hanzhong's water conservancy construction but also physical specimens for studying Han and Wei calligraphy, with high artistic value.

*From the late 1960s to the early 1970s, due to the construction of the Shimen Reservoir, cultural workers chiseled and moved the finest stone carvings from the flooded area to the Hanzhong Museum for protection before the reservoir was filled.

*The "Thirteen Cliff Stone Carvings of Shimen" mainly include: the *Shimen* Stele, *Xujun Kaitong Baoxie Dao* cliff carving, *Xujun Bei Shiwen* cliff carving, *Li Jun Biao* cliff carving, *Shimen Song* cliff carving, *Yang Huai Biao Fei* cliff carving, *Yu Pen* cliff carving, *Shi Hu* cliff carving, *Gun Xue* cliff carving, *Li Bao Tong Ge Dao* cliff carving, *Pan Zhongbo, Han Zongyuan* cliff carving, *Shimen Ming* cliff carving, and *Chongxiu Shanhe Yan* cliff carving. Among them, *Shimen Song* is known as a fine example of Han clerical script, and together with *Zhige Song* from Lueyang, Shaanxi, and *Xixia Song* from Chengxian, Gansu, they are called the "Three Songs of Han."
