Softly melting roast beef bowl and steak bowl at Red Rock

🥩 Menu ① Roast Beef Bowl
Visually striking!
Thin, tender slices of roast beef are piled high like a mountain on top of rice. A soft-boiled egg 🍳 is placed on top, complemented by a creamy mayonnaise-style sauce and a soy sauce-based special sauce that blend harmoniously.

The meat is incredibly tender with no unpleasant odor. The sweet and salty sauce perfectly ties the meat and rice together, while the egg yolk adds a rich flavor for a perfect balance! The rice portion is slightly small, so it might not be enough as a standalone meal, but it's ideal for a light and satisfying bite.
(Note: The egg-topped bowl is the regular size, while the blurred one in the background is the large size. There's a noticeable difference in the height of the meat! 😊)

🥩 Menu ② Steak Bowl
A true steak experience!
For a different vibe, I also tried the steak bowl. Unlike the tender and thin roast beef, the steak bowl features thick cuts of meat that offer a satisfying chew.

The steak is cooked to medium doneness, bursting with juices. If you love the rich flavor of meat, you might prefer this option. The sauce is slightly saltier than the roast beef bowl, making it perfect to enjoy with rice.

🥊 Steak Bowl VS Roast Beef Bowl
Roast Beef Bowl: Soft, sweet balance that melts in your mouth!
Steak Bowl: Thick, juicy meat with an explosion of flavor—recommended for meat lovers!

✨ Handy Tips
⏰ Waiting time: It's a popular spot, so expect long lines during lunch/dinner peak hours! The Harajuku branch seems to have the longest wait times. If you want to avoid the wait, the Takadanobaba (高田馬場) station branch is a good alternative.
🍽️ Value for money: Slightly above average by Japanese standards, but worth it for the taste.
👣 Solo dining: The interior is designed to accommodate solo diners, making it highly recommended for travelers.
