Winter is here again! Ice and snow are about to give the world a new look! In winter, Harbin is definitely one of the most popular cities! Whenever I go to a place, I always visit the local museum. A museum is a microcosm of a place, and you can quickly learn about the local culture and history.
🏠About the Museum
1️⃣ First floor: Butterfly specimen exhibition, Qing Dynasty treasures exhibition, displaying exquisite exhibits such as silk and cotton weaving, embroidery crafts, and jade carvings from the Qing Dynasty.
2️⃣ Second floor: "Harbin Stories - Early 20th Century Harbin Social Life Exhibition", which recreates the life scenes of Harbin a hundred years ago.
🎟️About Tickets
Museum tickets are free, and reservations are recommended. Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 16:00 (last entry at 15:30), closed on Mondays (except for national holidays).
🚗About Transportation
Heilongjiang Provincial Museum is located at No. 50 Hongjun Street, Nangang District, Harbin. You can take Metro Line 1/2, get off at Museum Station, and exit from Exit 5.
🍃Travel Tips
✅There are many unique buildings outside the museum, such as the Soviet Army Heroes Monument, Meyerovich Building, and the former site of the China Eastern Railway Administration. If you like street photography, you can take pictures.
✅You can register with your ID card at the entrance of the museum to rent an automatic interpreter for free, which will make your visit more vivid and interesting.
✅Please do not touch the exhibits, do not make loud noises, and do not turn on the flash when taking photos.
✅The museum is not very big, and it takes about an hour to visit, which is much easier than the Harbin Museum.
