Did you also think that snow boots are a must-have for winter trips to Harbin? 🤔 Big mistake! 😱 After my personal experience, I just want to shout: Snow boots are not reliable in Harbin! 😩
That day, I was wearing snow boots and playing in the snow, and then... my god, my feet felt like they were frozen in ice! 🥶 In the -10°C northeast, snow boots are not enough! 😱 Even worse, snow boots are not waterproof! 💦 After playing in the snow, my shoes and pants were all wet, and I felt terrible... 😭
So, today I am here to share my painful experience with you! 💔
📝 [November–December Harbin Travel Essentials] are here!
🌈 Weather: Harbin is mostly sunny or snowy at this time, as beautiful as a fairy tale! ❄️
👗 Top: Sweater + windbreaker/down jacket. I really recommend a windbreaker, as it is waterproof and snowproof, and more practical than a down jacket! 🧥
👖 Bottom: Warm long johns + thick pants, fleece or jeans are fine. Remember to choose thicker long johns to keep warm! 👖
👟 Shoes: Thick socks + sneakers/hiking shoes, with good slip resistance! This way, your feet will be warm and safe! 👟
🧣 Others: Scarves, gloves, hats, masks, sunglasses, don't miss any of them, warm and stylish! 😎
📝 Harbin travel tips, you're welcome!
🔥 Tip 1: Don't plan too many attractions every day, you won't be able to stand it if you stay outside for too long! You need to go back to the hotel or indoors to warm up after about two hours. ⏰
🔥 Tip 2: The Ice and Snow World opens in late December, from 11:00 to 22:00 every day. The most beautiful time is when the lights are turned on from 16:00 to 16:30, don't miss it! 🎆
🔥 Tip 3: The restaurants around Central Street are expensive and taste average, don't try the internet-famous restaurants easily, unless you are particularly interested! 🍽️
🔥 Tip 4: Remember to taste before buying cooked food, the char siu and pine nut sausage at Fendou are really delicious! 😋
🔥 Tip 5: When you come to Harbin, don't order takeout if you can, feel the enthusiasm of the people in the northeast! You must get up early to have breakfast at the morning market, it's definitely worth it! 🍲
🔥 Tip 6: Don't buy the Russian bread, one can last a week, you really can't finish it! 🍞
🚗 Transportation: First time in Harbin and unfamiliar? Don't worry, I found a local guy to show us around, it was great! 🌟 I compared many options, and this small group is really good, the leader is nice and patient, and everything was arranged for us! 😊
Okay, that's all for today's sharing! I hope you can avoid these pitfalls when you go to Harbin and have a happy and enjoyable time! 😘 Remember, snow boots are not reliable in Harbin! 👋
