“Khlong Hae Floating Market”, the first floating market in the South

Khlong Hae Floating Market is located in Khlong Hae Temple, Khlong Hae Subdistrict, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province. It is the first floating market in the South, imitating the traditional way of life of the Khlong Hae villagers, where merchants row boats to sell their goods and there are many shops on the banks for you to enjoy walking around and choosing from. There are many types of local desserts and southern food. The containers used for food are made from natural materials such as banana leaves, coconut shells, and bamboo. It is the first and only cultural floating market in the South, combining a market that sells goods on boats and an ancient market that sells goods on land. The floating market opens on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Located in Khlong Hae Temple, Khlong Hae Subdistrict, it is the first floating market in the South, imitating the traditional way of life of the Khlong Hae villagers, where merchants row boats to sell their goods and there are many shops on the banks for you to enjoy walking around and choosing from.
