Guizhou's Gaoguo River is Truly Astonishing!
My mom has always told me that Guizhou's Gaoguo River is the "king" of the rafting world, unmatched by any other! This summer, I finally went to try it out with my girlfriends, and it did not disappoint!
The Gaoguo River scenic area is absolutely stunning, featuring pristine forests, grand canyons, rushing rapids, and cascading waterfalls. Just looking at it feels like gazing at a "natural painting." The entire area is surrounded by trees, with towering ancient ones and splashing water that fills the valley with an impressive aura! At an altitude of 900 meters, the temperature remains cool year-round, averaging 14.5°C, making it a "summer paradise." During summer, the place is bustling with visitors, and you can often hear screams echoing through the skies! As we walked down, admiring the pools and waterfalls, a sense of tranquility washed over us. Despite this calm, the natural stone walls and uniquely shaped rocks along the way were breathtakingly beautiful, like a painting. Even just walking around felt enjoyable, with the lush mountains and clear waters making you feel like you're inside a masterpiece.

When playing, remember to bring swimwear because you'll get soaked during the entire experience! We had to protect our phones and cameras with waterproof bags; otherwise, they'd turn into "electronic fish"! The rafting route spans 5 kilometers with a 200-meter drop, taking about 3-4 hours to complete, leaving you feeling refreshed and invigorated!
