Must Be Heaven

From the moment I landed in Dali I felt a calm and tranquility flow over me. A peace of mind that I’ve not felt in a long while. It quite literally put a hop in my step as I walked for a short 20 minutes from my accommodation at Lux Tea Horse hotel to the Ancient City. Cultural pride permeates the air in this city. It’s in the food, the people, the architecture, the landscape and the weather is perfect. The people are warm, friendly and accommodating, why wouldn’t they be living here. I spent three days exploring Dali Santorini/Ideal City, Erhai Lake, The Three Pagodas, Ancient City and Cangshan. Nature is my recharge button so I loved being at Cangshan. I just did not have enough time, so another visit is on the horizon for me. #ancientcity #erhailake #cangshan #threepagodas #idealcity
