Majestic and Lesser-Known Yizhou District in Guangxi

Longjiang River in Yizhou, Guangxi, is one of the important tributaries of the Liu River, a branch of the Xijiang River in the Pearl River system. It originates in Sandu County, Guizhou Province, flows through Huanjiang County, Jinchengjiang District, and Yizhou District in Hechi City, Guangxi, and finally merges into the Liu River near Huaiyuan Town in Yizhou. Yizhou is the hometown of Liu Sanjie, the Zhuang ethnic group's legendary song fairy. Along the banks of the Longjiang River, many folk song legends are passed down. The Xiaxian River Scenic Area features cultural relics such as Liu Sanjie's former residence and the Duige Terrace.
