🛕🌳 Mingjiao Temple

Tucked away from the city’s modern rhythm, Mingjiao Temple feels like a pocket of stillness. As we walked past the red walls and into the courtyard, the scent of incense lingered in the warm air. There weren’t many people, just the soft sound of wind brushing through old trees and the quiet steps of visitors moving respectfully. It’s not a grand temple, but that’s what makes it special, it feels lived-in, grounded, and human. 🧘♀️🕊️⛩️

Inside, the halls held rows of golden Buddha statues, flickering candles, and offerings placed with care. We lit incense, not out of tradition, but because it felt like the right thing to do. The moment was still, peaceful. Outside again, we sat under a tree and watched the light fall on the temple roof simple, meaningful, and quietly beautiful. 🍃🪔🙏
