Autumn in Hefei is a must-visit for photography! These 5 hidden gems will give you amazing shots📸
I just went on a trip to Hefei with my bestie
and found that autumn in Hefei is absolutely stunning
These spots are perfect for taking great photos anywhere
Quickly sharing them with my photo-loving sisters
1️⃣ Shufengwan Sports Park
Autumn in Hefei starts here! Golden maple leaves and ginkgo trees create a breathtaking autumn scene. The most recommended spot is the pavilion in the middle of the lake, where you can capture the combination of fallen leaves and water reflections. The best time to shoot is between 3-5 PM. Wearing beige or camel-colored clothes is suggested.
2️⃣ Bao Park Ginkgo Avenue
A golden corridor formed by over 200 ginkgo trees! It’s less crowded on weekdays, but weekends might be a bit busy. You can bring a transparent umbrella as a prop, which makes the photos look especially charming. The location is on the northwest side of the park, don’t get lost.
3️⃣ Chaohu Wetland Park
The vast reed marshes are truly amazing! It’s best to visit at dusk when the setting sun dyes the reeds golden. Wearing a light-colored long dress paired with a straw hat gives a very natural, forest vibe. Navigate to the area near the Crossing of the Yangtze River Campaign Memorial for the best reeds view.
4️⃣ Emerald Lake Lakeside Avenue
The colorful trees by the lake are forever iconic! Here you’ll find red maples, dawn redwoods, and chrysanthemums with very rich colors. It’s recommended to go on a sunny day when the lake surface sparkles, making for perfect shots. It can be windy by the lake, so remember to bring a jacket.
5️⃣ Binhu National Forest Park
Autumn straight out of a fairy tale! It’s best to take the sightseeing bus to the central plaza, then slowly walk into the forest. When pine needles cover the path, it looks especially dreamy. You can wear brown boots with a plaid skirt for photos.
⚠️ Tips:
- Late October to mid-November is the best time for photography
- Remember to bring a power bank! You won’t want to stop taking photos
- Shooting after 3 PM is recommended for softer light
- Prepare some small props to enhance the atmosphere
