From May onwards, the entire region of Inner Mongolia enters its prime tourist season.
The first places to turn green are undoubtedly Ulan Butong, Re'a Line, Ulanqab, Xilingol Grassland, Horqin Grassland, Hulunbuir Grassland...

For us, from May to July, each time you visit, you'll encounter different scenery. Due to the terrain, the degree of greenness and the flowering periods of the grasslands vary, so don't worry about not seeing beautiful scenery. The key is to visit between May and July.

🏕️As for when it's the most beautiful?
Mid-May to mid-June. If you have the time, choose this period. Starting from Chifeng, the journey is shorter and saves time.

Then I recommend Ulan Butong. Deep within the Ulan Butong Grassland lies a unique world with diverse landforms, including grasslands, rivers🏞️, hills, forests🌳, canyons⛰️, sandy lands, wetlands, and lakes. This untouched paradise offers horse riding enthusiasts an excellent stage for exploration. Riding through it feels like stepping into a series of vivid natural paintings, making you linger and savor the joy of riding and the charm of nature.

📍Five-Colored Mountain: Offers excellent, panoramic views.
📍Film and Television Base: Requires climbing a long boardwalk.
📍European Scenery Area: Vast grasslands, incredibly healing.
📍Princess Lake: I found this one average, much like the scenery in some parks.
📍General Paozi: I heard you need to ride a horse🐴 to get there, so I didn't go. I looked at it from afar, and it seemed similar to Wild Duck Lake.
📍Panlong Canyon: This is probably more beautiful in autumn; there's no water in the canyon now.
