This time staying at Ximo Lost Villa Yuxi Cliff Seaview Homestay in Pingtan was truly a treasure find! A super large infinity pool + a prime cliffside sea view, every snap feels like a blockbuster shot 🌊 The best part is you can watch the sunrise and sunset right from the bed, the romance level is off the charts!
📍 Location:
The homestay is located in Diao Jiaodi, Aoqian Town, hidden in a fishing village but with an unbeatable sea view. Driving navigation is very accurate, parking is convenient, and it’s not far from the county town and high-speed train station. A taxi ride takes just 15 minutes to the bustling city center.
✨ Highlights:
• Photo hotspot: Mediterranean-style creamy white buildings + infinity pool, on sunny days the pool blends seamlessly with the sea and sky, and on rainy days, shooting moody photos indoors through the floor-to-ceiling windows is super atmospheric
• Sunrise spot: The room balconies/terraces are golden spots for watching the sunrise, no need to get up early to catch the orange morning light over the sea
• Private beach: A 5-minute walk to a beautiful, less crowded beach, perfect for grabbing a beer at sunset and having the whole view to yourself
🏨 Check-in perks:
• The housekeeper contacts you in advance with location and tips, and helps with luggage—super thoughtful
• The room is equipped with a projector and high-speed WiFi, perfect for cozy movie nights
• Hidden service: You can book the homestay’s photographer to teach you poses and capture stunning sea view portraits
🍽️ Nearby dining:
The homestay breakfast is delicious, and the afternoon tea desserts are visually stunning. For a big meal, it’s recommended to take a taxi to the county town (recommended: Maoji Seafood Claypot Porridge, Haitan-style snacks)
📌 Practical tips:
• Best room type: Definitely choose the cliffside sea view room with a terrace!
• Best photo times: The pool is least crowded one hour after sunrise, and the light is softest from 4 to 6 PM
• Travel advice: Pingtan is windy, bring a jacket; renting an electric scooter to tour the island is super convenient (the homestay can help arrange)
Pingtan has really exploded in popularity these past two years, and this homestay is definitely a secret base to avoid the crowds~ Ladies, hurry up and go, don’t forget to bring plenty of memory cards and beautiful dresses!
