It was a trip to Heze, China 🇨🇳 When we visited Heze, we were mesmerized by its rich cultural heritage, stunning gardens 🌺 and vibrant local life.

We started our day at Caozhou Peony Garden 🪴 the largest peony garden in China. If you visit during April or May, the blooming peonies create a breathtaking sea of colors. The soft morning light ✨(around 6:00 AM) enhances the delicate petals, making it the perfect time for photography 📸 We took close-ups of the flowers and wide-angle shots of the entire garden 🌺

After the garden, we explored Water Margin Haogang Scenic Area, a theme park inspired by the classic Chinese novel Water Margin (水浒传). The traditional architecture, statues of legendary heroes, and reenactments of historical scenes provided fantastic photography opportunities 📸 The best lighting for capturing the details of the ancient-style buildings is between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM ✨

We also visited Guangyue Tower, a beautifully preserved Ming Dynasty structure that offers panoramic views of the city 🙌 The symmetrical design and intricate wooden 🪵 carvings were a highlight. The soft shadows in the afternoon light (around 2:00 PM) made for great architectural shots 📸

We also to Yuncheng Lake, a peaceful spot surrounded by willow trees and stone pathways 🏘️ The reflection of the setting sun on the lake created a mesmerizing golden glow ✨ Arriving around 5:30 PM allowed us to capture the changing colors of the sky over the water.

We also explored the Heze Ancient City Night Market 🛍️ a bustling area filled with street food stalls, glowing lanterns, and traditional performances. The mix of bright neon signs and warm street lights created a fantastic setting for night photography 📸 We highly recommend trying Heze’s famous lamb skewers while capturing the vibrant atmosphere 💯
