Ziyun Cave in Hezhou
- Location: Limu Village, Getang Town, Babu District, Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, about 4 km southwest of Hezhou City.
- Opening hours: Open all year round, usually from 08:00 to 17:30, subject to seasonal or weather adjustments.
- Ticket price: Adult ticket is CNY 40, children/students/seniors, etc. are eligible for discounts, children under 6 years old (including 6 years old) or under 1.2 meters (including 1.2 meters), seniors over 65 years old, active military personnel, etc. are free with valid ID.

Natural Scenery
- Inside the cave: The cave covers an area of about 10,000 square meters, with a tour route of about 1 km. The landscape is developed late but is exquisite and gorgeous. There are more than 30 attractions such as "Undersea Dragon Palace", "Silver Waterfall", and "Hanging Iron Tree". Stone curtains and stone vines hang like stage curtains, and there are natural stages and palace maid figures, surrounded by Bodhisattva and Arhat statues, forming a scene of the heavenly palace.
- Outside the cave: The scenic area is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful environment, lush greenery, and strong rural characteristics, making it a great place for leisure, vacation, and summer recreation.
Geological History
- Ziyun Cave is an independent limestone cave on the Babu Basin, formed in the Jurassic period. The stone mountain is about 100 meters above sea level, over 800 meters long, with an underground cave of about 6 km long and an underground river flowing through it. The developed tour route is about 1 km.
History, Legends, and Culture
- Origin of the name: The underground river in the cave is warm in winter and cool in summer. In winter, the warm air in the cave is sprayed out from the cave entrance, forming a purple mist at the entrance of the stone mountain cave, hence the name Ziyun Cave.
- Development history: Discovered and publicly reported in 1996, it was developed by a Zhejiang boss with the support of the Hezhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government in 2002, and opened to the public in May 2003.

- Duration: It is recommended to spend two to three hours.
- Nearby food: There are local specialties such as Hezhou rice noodles, snail noodles, and salt and pepper chicken feet.
