🥛 Tasty and Educational Fun at Megmilk Snow Brand Factory

Our family really enjoyed the visit to the Megmilk Snow Brand Factory in Sapporo. We had booked the tour in advance and it turned out to be such a great experience, especially for the kids. The museum was filled with old-school dairy equipment, vintage milk bottles, and even a ceiling full of cowbells that the kids loved ringing. It was interactive, informative, and much more fun than we expected.
The tour also included a look into the actual production line where we saw how milk and cheese are made. Watching the process up close gave us a new appreciation for the work that goes into even a simple carton of milk. Everything was explained clearly, and the guides were really friendly.
One of the best parts came at the end—fresh milk and cheese samples straight from the factory. The milk was so rich and creamy, and we all agreed it tasted better than any store-bought version. We even brought home a couple of dairy souvenirs.
It’s not your typical tourist spot, but it ended up being a highlight of our trip. Simple, educational, and really enjoyable for the whole family.
