A trip to Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture with Ukimido

Location: Ukimido, Shiga Prefecture, Japan

A relatively unfamiliar place in the Kansai region, Shiga Prefecture is a region with a large lake called Biwako in the middle.
That's why it's often called Biwako Sightseeing rather than Shiga Prefecture Sightseeing!
Because Biwako is so big, there are various landmarks, and each has a different charm depending on where you look.
I visited the Ukimido Floating Temple. There's a restaurant right next to the temple that floats on the water, and you can enjoy a meal while taking in the view of Biwako! The walking course is also well-made👍
