🕊️❄️ Hiroshima Winter Travel Review — Walking, Taking Pictures, and Chilling in a City Full of Warm Atmosphere ❄️🕊️
Hiroshima in winter has a quiet charm that doesn't require rushing or planning. Just walking around, there are always things to stop and take pictures of.
📍 We chose to walk around the city mainly. We didn't rush anywhere. We focused on spending time in the city slowly — some streets were so quiet that we could hear the sound of shoes hitting the ground, and some places were brightly lit by the winter lights that were on until nightfall.
📸 We mainly took pictures, both of the natural light reflecting on the river surface, the shadows of buildings in the evening, or the orange lights from small shops that looked warm even in the cold weather. Everything is like the city is telling us a story through the camera lens.
🌉 At night, we walked along the Motoyasu River and saw the view of the Atomic Bomb Dome with the lights reflecting on the water — so beautiful that we became quiet without realizing it.
🍡 Sometimes we stopped by a hot Japanese sweet shop to eat with bitter green tea to warm ourselves up. Sometimes we just sat and watched people walk by and smiled to ourselves for being here.
💭 For us, Hiroshima doesn't just give us "tourist attractions", but also "feelings" that we will never forget — quiet, deep, and warmer than we thought in a city that has been through so much.
