Counted as one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, Miyajima is a small island floating in the calm waters of Hiroshima Bay. The island's Itsukushima Shrine and the primeval forest of Mt. Misen are registered as World Heritage sites. It is rich in nature and has many legends. You can get there by ferry from Hiroshima Station.
