Miyajima is a small island in Japan famous for its iconic floating torii gate at Itsukushima Shrine. It's located near Hiroshima and is one of Japan's most scenic spots especially during high tide when the gate appears to float on the water. Miyajima is also known for its tame deer, temples and hiking trails. It's a popular tourist destination as there are many day tours offered to this island.
