The weather cleared up this morning, so I went to the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome as soon as I got up. I also walked into the Peace Memorial Museum. Looking at the history of the past, I felt the horror of war. Although I saw the damage caused by the war in the museum, I did not see any explanation of the cause of the atomic bombing. I hope the Japanese will truly reflect on themselves. For some reason there were many reporters from Japanese TV stations filming inside the exhibition hall. When we walked out of the gallery, a reporter stopped us and asked where we were from. He spoke a few words to me in his very ordinary Mandarin, and then asked us if he could interview us in English. We declined.
