A Day Walking Through Memories in Hiroshima

Traveling to Hiroshima was not just a sightseeing trip but a journey that left a deep impression on my heart. Walking through the Peace Memorial Park, the atmosphere of the city felt calm and serene. Standing before the Atomic Bomb Dome, I could simultaneously sense the scars left by war and the hope for peace. Yet, the present-day laughter and sounds of daily life filled the air, creating a unique experience where the past and present intertwined in a remarkable way.

Sitting in a small café along a quiet alley, sipping coffee while gazing out the window, I felt the leisure of a traveler. At the local market, a warm plate of okonomiyaki satisfied my hunger, and the lively energy of the locals added flavor to the journey.

The sunset I witnessed at Miyajima was particularly unforgettable. The torii gate, glowing red over the sea, appeared almost like a mystical portal to another world.

Hiroshima carries both pain and hope, and this balance made the trip deeper and more special. On the way back, I felt as though a part of my heart had grown stronger.
