A peaceful christmas

For Christmas holidays we chose Hiroshima. It offers the most peaceful and at the same time a beautiful Christmas. We also managed to visit the peace park. This was a huge park and a special day walking around and exploring the outdoors in good weather. What an unreal feeling to imagine what the place went through. It has this extremely calm and peaceful vibe.

The museum nearby further amplifies the gravity of what occurred here, displaying artifacts, photographs, and personal accounts that vividly depict the human cost of war. Walking through the Peace Memorial Park, with its tranquil atmosphere juxtaposed against the weight of its history, is a poignant reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of pursuing peace.

The countless paper cranes, symbols of hope and healing, left by visitors from around the world, underscore the universal desire for a future free from such devastation. I would highly recommend visiting this spot. It is a special place and a great lesson from history.
