First, I visited the Peace Memorial Park. Standing before the Atomic Bomb Dome, a heavy air filled me, as if time had stopped. The message conveyed there was more than just a tourist attraction; it was a lesson in history that humanity must remember. As I explored the museum, I was reminded of the pain of war and the preciousness of peace.
Setting foot on Miyajima, a completely different world unfolded. The red torii gates, seemingly floating on the sea, were breathtaking, and the sight of freely roaming deer added to the peaceful atmosphere. Strolling along the promenade, I fully experienced the charm of Japan, where nature and tradition coexist.
The city of Hiroshima was vibrant. I stopped by Okonomiyaki Street, savoring freshly made okonomiyaki, and felt the warmth of the local people. Even the small alleyways had their own charming charm, making it enjoyable to slowly explore.
My trip to Hiroshima was a special experience, allowing me to remember the pain of the past while also savoring the peace and beauty of the present.
