Hitoyoshi! Overwhelming! A must-visit thatched roof shrine designated as a national treasure

This is a historic shrine that was founded 1200 years ago. We were overwhelmed by the thatched tower gate that greeted us as we crossed the red bridge over the lotus pond. The worship hall also has a thatched roof. The three deities enshrined here are Takeiwatatsuno-mikoto, Asotsuhime-no-mikoto, and Kuninomiyatsukohayamikatama-no-mikoto. This is a recommended spot that cannot be missed when visiting Hitoyoshi.
