Saigon Stories 🇻🇳

Just got back from a whirlwind trip to Ho Chi Minh City — and what a ride it was. The city never slows down. It’s a chaotic, beautiful dance of motorbikes, street food smoke, French-colonial charm, and that unmistakable Vietnamese hustle.

From the first bowl of phở on a plastic stool at a sidewalk stall, I knew I was in for a good time. The food here? Unreal. Every meal felt like a local secret — bánh mì with pate that melts in your mouth, iced cà phê sữa đá that could fuel a week, and street corners that suddenly turn into night markets lit by a thousand neon signs.

We wandered through the War Remnants Museum, walked past the Notre-Dame Cathedral of Saigon, got lost in Ben Thanh Market, and cruised the Saigon River at sunset. One night, we ended up on a rooftop bar with a view of the Bitexco Tower glowing like a Blade Runner scene. Another night? Sitting on a red stool in District 1, sharing beers with strangers-turned-friends.

Ho Chi Minh isn’t polished — and that’s its magic. It’s raw, loud, vibrant, and full of soul. If you want a city that pulses with life, where every alley smells like grilled pork and motorbikes blur past like memories, this is the place.

Would I go back? In a heartbeat.
Would I recommend it? Only if you’re ready to fall in love with the chaos.
