Glover Garden: A must-see for its precious architecture

Glover Garden is located on the site of Nagasaki's foreign settlement, which was established after the area became an open port.
The homes of merchant Thomas Glover and other foreigners have been preserved here.
You can learn about Nagasaki's history from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period through valuable historical buildings designated as Important Cultural Properties, such as the Former Glover House.
Its elevated location offers excellent views of Nagasaki.
Souvenir shops and other stores are clustered along the slope leading up to Glover Garden.
There are also apparently spots where cherry blossoms bloom in spring.
